Uruguayan studio Ironhide, famous for the Kingdom Rush series of games, announced that it is developing a new original game.
The novelty will be called Iron Marines. According to the authors, they decided to move away from the genre of “castle defense” and “try something a little different.” By the latter, they meant a real-time strategy in a sci-fi setting. However, as you can see from the first screenshot of the game, the developers decided not to abandon the usual hand-drawn style for themselves.
The game will be released next year on iOS, Android and Steam.
In the official Twitter feed of the development company, they also noted that they will continue to work on new games in the Kingdom Rush series.
