Dong Nguyen’s studio dotGEARS is preparing to release a new title. The project will be released on the same day as Super Mario Run (Nintendo) – December 15.
For the first time, the development became known back in January. At that time, the game did not have a name yet, only the working name was N Project. Now it has become known. The project was called Ninja Spinki Challenges. Will appear on iOS and Android. Its publisher, as we previously reported, will be the Japanese company Obokaidem.
Judging by the project’s website, the game will be a platformer about a ninja in red. Given this, we can assume that the release date was not chosen by chance. Dong and his publishers may be hoping that those users who would be sorry to spend $9.99 on the mobile adventures of Mario the plumber will download an analog.
Despite the importance of Flappy Bird for the mobile industry (the project reversed the attitude to complexity in casual projects, and also opened on a par with Threes! a new niche – minimalistic games), new breakthroughs from Dong are not worth waiting for. His latest projects, among which, for example, Swing Copters 2, exploited the former gameplay developments of the Vietnamese.
