Kabam has removed the ambitious role-playing game Star Wars: Uprising from the App Store and Google Play. A large-scale project in the Star Wars universe, according to the developers, “did not justify the efforts necessary to support it.”

“The game is no longer as popular as before,” Kabam also explained the closure of the game.

Since April 2016, the project has not risen above the two hundredth position in the US box office gaming top on both iOS and Android.

The worldwide release of the game in stores took place in September 2015, three months before the release of the seventh episode of the star saga. About $14 million was allegedly spent on development (that’s how much, on average, Kabam spends on launching each of its games).

Despite the fact that the game can no longer be downloaded, as well as to make a payment in it, the Star Wars: Uprising servers will be closed only on October 24, 2016.
