41.7 million — such a number of copies of the Uncharted franchise games managed to sell Naughty Dog for 10 years of the series’ existence. Representatives of the studio announced this at the annual PlayStation Experience exhibition last weekend.
This number includes sales of 4 original parts, as well as a separate addition Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and a collection of remasters The Nathan Drake Collection, transferring the first three games of the series to the PlayStation 4.
More than a quarter of the total sales of the franchise (13.7 million copies) have been sold in the last year and a half, and the final part of the tetralogy Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End received the highest rating among video games on the aggregator Metacritic at the end of 2016.
