Angry Birds Evolution from the Finnish Rovio has been released on the App Store in Hong Kong. The novelty is another attempt by the company to strengthen itself within the battler genre.
TouchArcade journalists compare the game with the popular Japanese project Monster Strike, which, according to Superdata, has been the highest-grossing mobile game in the world for several months.
It seems to us that the game is much closer to the Angry Birds Action already released this year!. Root mechanics is a synthesis of bowling and small towns. There is a field on which pigs are placed in a certain order. The player has a squad of birds at his disposal, which he throws at green pigs like balloon birds. The task is to bring the life of all pigs at the level to zero.
As in the classic Angry Birds, the number of attempts issued for each bird is limited. After the launch, the bird does not remain on the field, as, for example, in Monster Strike, the chips remain, but return to their original position. A timer is lit above each pig. If it reaches zero, piggy attacks the player.
For completing the levels, they give eggs from which birds hatch. Birds can be improved by spending other birds on their development.
It is unknown when Angry Birds Evolution will be released worldwide.
Recall that the current game is not the first attempt by Rovio to launch a successful battler. Previously, there were such games as Angry Birds Epic, Angry Birds Fight! RPG Puzzle and Pet Monsters, which has not yet been released from the softlonch, which is just a direct clone of Monster Strike.
