The world release of the new Rovio game – the Angry Birds Fight! project, which was developed by the Japanese studio KITERETSU, took place.
The novelty, in fact, is a reskin of their ZOOKEEPER game, which was originally released on the web back in 2002, then was ported to DS, and in 2011 appeared on mobile platforms, where its total downloads reached 30 million.
Both games are based on a realtime competition. For each mission, a live opponent is selected, against which the user acts. The winner is the one who scores more points on his match-3 field.
Players fight with characters – in the case of Angry Birds Fight! birds, each of which has its own set of characteristics that grow from level to level, as well as inventory, things for which are won, including in the local slot machine.
However, the game is not only monetized by gambling elements. The project also has energy that is spent on participating in missions.
We do not want to give any assessment to the project yet, we have played very little, but we note that in terms of working on fonts, localization of Angry Birds Fight! it turned out to be almost perfect in Russian.
