The authors of League of Legends made their debut on the mobile games market. The developer company has released a minimalistic pixel project Blitzcrank’s Poro Roundup.

The arrival of Riot Games on mobile devices was expected, most likely, as zealously as the appearance of Bethesda. Another thing is that everyone certainly imagined the format of the debut differently.

Blitzcrank’s Poro Roundup is a unicellular runner timed to coincide with the release of new themed skins for League of Legends characters. The player acts as one of the heroes of the title – a hefty robot Blitzcrank.

The user’s task is to adjust the local sheep (poros) so that they are not eaten by the baron – a hefty monster from League of Legends. Missed a few sheep – the end of the game.

The project cannot boast of great complexity, but it is quite suitable as a time killer.

How seriously should Blitzcrank’s Poro Roundup be taken is an open question. It is clear that this particular product is nothing more than an advertisement for new skins dedicated to retro arcades, and League of Legends itself. But is it worth waiting for something more serious after it?

The game will only be available for a limited time to download from the App Store and Google Play. You can also play the game in the browser here.

PS Checking the information, we found out that in fact Riot Games has already released a mobile game once. It was back in 2009. Then the company published in the App Store protection towers League of Legends: Turret Defense. Now this project can no longer be downloaded. Riot Games closed it at the very beginning of 2012.
