In a nutshell, the Ambition of the Slimes is Final Fantasy Tactics with a tie from Heinlein’s “Puppeteers”.
The user plays for the parasites. His goal is to move them into the people on the tactical map and kill those for whom there were not enough parasites. The problem is complicated by the fact that without carriers, parasites do not pose a serious threat to opponents. Therefore, as I understand it, the average mission looks something like this: we move into warriors for the first half, trying to avoid risky situations. The second half – we are trying to overcome healthy people.
