It’s another Thursday outside the window, which means it’s time to see what interesting games appeared in the App Store this week.

Star Wars: Invasion

It is difficult to treat such a project objectively. On the one hand, this is another clone of Clash of Clans. On the other hand, firstly, the game is made according to everyone’s favorite brand, secondly, it is made, as far as can be judged by the first hour of the game, well (three-dimensional graphics, story campaigns, there are new features in the gameplay), and thirdly, here, damn it, you can play not only for the rebels, but also for the empire.

Swing Copters

A novelty from the creator of Flappy Bird. This alone can bring the novelty to the top. Perhaps it will be so. But, to be honest, we never figured out how to play it. In theory, of course, in practice, it turns into some kind of torment. I want to break the smartphone right after the first couple of attempts. In a word, the game is from Dong Nguyen.

Foodie Yama

A great variation of the Timberman gameplay. The green jelly is crawling deep into the well. On her way there are fruits and swords. Swords must be bypassed, fruits must be collected. The latter give extra seconds of life. The pace of the game, in fact, is set by the player himself, but if he is not quick enough, game over will come quickly

Spooklands

One of the excellent examples of new mechanics that would be good for free-to-play rails, but in this particular case, the project containing it is distributed according to a paid model. The essence of the game is as follows: there is a field on which the hero of the game is located. He moves by shooting in one direction or another. What is important: the change of dislocation occurs in the opposite direction from the shot. Opponents are periodically generated on the field. The task, accordingly, is to avoid them as long as possible.

The Firm

Very stylish in graphics and minimalistic in gameplay project. You play as a stockbroker. It is necessary to buy green stocks when they rise, not to buy them when they fall, and also to buy red stocks when they fall, and not to buy them. when the reds grow. Actually, this is the whole process. The task is to score as many points as possible.

Warbot Assault

Cranberry beat ’em up from Kongregate. The user plays for a huge Soviet mech, which flattens the Soviet army, at least at first glance. Of course, this is not a Street Fighter, but there are several types of strikes (there is even a jump shot), all sorts of combos and cheerful music.

Qube Kingdom

DeNA has released tower defense, the main feature of which is Minecraft-style graphics, a limit on the maximum number of conditional towers, a collectible element and, as it seemed to us, a much faster pace than in most games of a similar plan.
