Not so long ago, a new game by the Austin studio Dead Mage was released in the App Store – the premium Epic of Kings project.
What?
Demonstration of the capabilities of the modern version of Unreal Engine on mobile platforms. Ideologically, the budget heir of Infinity Blade.
How?
There is a set of missions. Each is, in fact, a corridor with rivals placed along it. The user strikes the latter with swipes. In case of a monster attack, the player must either substitute a shield or go left/right. During the battle, the local equivalent of “rage” is also recruited. If the corresponding scale is filled to the maximum, the player can activate a special powerful blow with its help.
Why buy a game?
For the money (379 rubles) that Dead Mage is now asking for her – absolutely nothing. But if there is a good discount, it’s worth a look. Rarely do games come out that, on the one hand, are very low on the overall level, but at the same time “go out” on technology.
Cons?
The gameplay does not shine with variety, so it gets boring quickly. Meta-gameplay is completely absent.
