Clones of the latest Supercell blockbuster have started to be released in China. At the moment, we know about at least three similar projects from developers from China.
The most information about the Clash Royale ruskin, in which all the heroes of the original project are replaced by the heroes of the classic Chinese novel “The Three Kingdoms”. According to the publication MMO Culture, it took the project team 2 weeks to create a playable build. The Android version is promised this month.
VentureBeat, who also wrote about the “Three Kingdoms”, published a screenshot of another clone. Its name is unknown, as are the details of its creation. But, most likely, it took more time to develop it. The developers decided to improvise — to make an isometric version of Clash Royale in the original fantasy setting.
There is an image of a Chinese clone of the game on Reddite, in which all maps and locations are replaced with similar ones from Starcraft. By the way, the setting fits organically. In particular, instead of skeletons, there are crowds of Zerlings.
It is clear that this is only the beginning. But, most likely, by the middle of this year we will face a large number of literal readings of the Supercell game.
