In May, the MMO action game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds first hit the The Top 20 most popular games on the PC platform, compiled by the rating company Newzoo.
Developed by the Korean studio Bluehole, the multiplayer survival simulator PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds took the 7th line of the chart.
Also, the MMORPG Guild Wars 2 from NCsoft returned to the May popularity rating a month later, hitting the 20th place of the list.
At the same time, Blizzard’s Diablo III role-playing action and Crytek studio’s Warface network shooter have left the rating.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has become one of the most successful games of this year, showing impressive results in the number of copies sold, revenue and excitement among gamers.
