This weekend, the VR horror Phasmophobia once again hit the top ten most popular games on Steam. Its peak online exceeded 60 thousand people. There was more only in the premiere month.

The Exposition update, which was released on August 26, helped the game in this. It added two new opponents and redesigned the tools available to users. According to the GitHyp service, on the eve of the start of the update, the peak of online Phasmophobia reached 15 thousand people, but on the day of release it exceeded 53.8 thousand people.

The horror audience grew until August 29. On Sunday, 61.9 thousand gamers played Phasmophobia simultaneously. However, on Monday, the excitement began to subside — the project managed to attract 51.3 thousand people at the same time.

At the time of writing the news online, Phasmophobia holds around 17.3 thousand simultaneous users and ranks 17th in the ranking.

For the first time in the top 10 of the most popular games on Steam, the project got into early October two weeks after the release of early access (that took place on September 18). He took sixth place with 61 thousand simultaneous players. By the end of the first month, the online game had grown to a record 112 thousand people.

Phasmophobia is a psychological VR horror for four people. In it, users explore places where paranormal phenomena occur and try to find ghosts. The game was created by the indie studio Kinetic Games, consisting of only one developer.
