Marvel’s Avengers has serious problems. The online level of the project dropped below 1000 people, and the players had difficulties with matchmaking.
The Forbes edition drew attention to the problem, and today the already low online Avengers on Steam has dropped to 917 players insignificant for a project of this level.
Because of this, the game started having problems finding matches. On PC, it takes up to half an hour, and on PS4 (where the game has a larger audience than on Steam) it is often impossible to assemble a full party of four people.

Now many players are afraid that the project may repeat the fate of Anthem, a service game from BioWare, which had similar problems after release (and they continue to occur).
In the official accounts of the project, the studio has not commented on the current situation until recently. She managed to publish statistics on how many times players threw the Captain America shield. Because of this, the players did not understand whether the developers were ready to fix technical problems, as well as whether they would add the promised new content.
As a result, Crystal Dynamics still published an appeal to the players, but did it as part of a comment for Kotaku: “We hear you. We fix bugs, make improvements, and add content as fast as we can.”
The studio also expressed confidence that players will definitely return to Avengers after high-level content appears in it and current bugs are fixed.
The developers have promised to share details about the new content next week and add new characters in the near future (including Kate Bishop, who will appear at the end of October).
Marvel’s Avengers was released on September 4 and received mixed reviews from critics, and the game’s user score on Metacritic was 3.3 at all.
