The titles of the Troll Face Quest franchise on mobile have gained more than 100 million downloads. This was announced by the publishing company Spil Games, noting that 90% of the installations of their games are organic.

“We owe our success to real—time project management and promotion in mobile app stores,” said Tim Geyer, CEO of Spil Games.

Spil Games originally released Troll Face Quest as browser games. In February 2015, the company moved the series to mobile platforms, where it received a warm welcome. The first mobile game — Troll Face Quest Sports — gained 1 million downloads in a few weeks after launch. In just 3 years, Spil Games has published 8 franchise titles on mobile.

The games of the Troll Face Quest series are a set of mindfulness puzzles, the gameplay of which is replete with coarse humor, absurd situations and references to Internet memes and pop culture.
