The mobile PvP shooter Critical Ops by the Finnish developer Critical Ops has been downloaded more than 25 million times, with the game gaining the last 10 million downloads in less than six months.
In March of this year, Critical Force reported 15 million downloads, and the daily audience of C-Ops reached 500 thousand people. Over the past 5 months, the title’s DAU has grown to 860 thousand people.
According to the developer, up to 77 thousand new players come to Critical Ops per day.
“Our game was downloaded by a number of people that is 4 times the population of Finland,” said Critical Force CEO Veli-Pekka Piirainen.
Critical Force Studio also intends to make its leading game an esports discipline. On August 20, the final games of the Critical Ops tournament will be held, during which 4 teams will compete for a prize pool of $ 10 thousand.
