One of the most charming projects of 2012 is an ironic simulator of the Knights of Pen role-playing board game & Paper – will get a sequel, – the Swedes from Paradox Interactive reported yesterday.
As in the first part, the player will act as a team of teenagers who sat down to play the classic “pen & paper RPG”.
As far as we can understand at the moment, the main change compared to the original is in the graphics: the project switched from 8-bit styling to 16-bit styling. Otherwise, everything seems to be in its place: from a turn-based JRPG action game to the ability to customize adventurers and a game room.
The game is scheduled for release on iOS and PC on May 14.
The first part, we recall, at one time gained very good press, but, as far as can be judged from App Annie data, it did not have particularly bright indicators in the paid top of games.
However, this fact did not stop her publisher Paradox Interactive from launching a sequel.
