We have already written about collaborations today. Here’s another one: developer and publisher Imangi Studios and NFLPlayers Inc., the marketing arm of the National Football League Players Association, have announced that some of the top NFL players will appear in the Temple Run 2 project.
The choice of the game is not accidental. Temple Run 2, an endless runner that has gained 1 billion downloads since its launch, is similar to an American football match: grab an idol (well, or a ball) and run as far as possible.
Interestingly, the ubiquitous Angry Birds also joined the collaboration with the NFL.
The first two characters, quarterbacks Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson, have already appeared in the game. They can be “bought” for a limited time.
