World of Warcraft players were dissatisfied with the fact that the health of mobs began to increase in proportion to the level of hero items after the update.

Changes in the game appeared after patch 7.2 The Tomb of Sargeras, released on March 28. There is no information about such changes in the game mechanics in the update notes.

Moreover, the director of the game Ion Hazzikostas (Ion Hazzikostas) last year claimed that Blizzard does not intend to introduce automatic adjustment of mobs’ health to the player’s level, as this “would undermine the feeling of the growth of your hero’s power, which is part of any MMO.”

Answering questions on the official WoW forum on March 29, Hazzikostas admitted that they really made these changes to the gameplay, but they do not work as the developers intended.

Ion Hazzikostas explained the rejection of last year’s promises by the desire to correct the game balance and slightly complicate the task for high-level gamers who effortlessly destroy hordes of mobs, preventing less pumped players from completing quests to kill the same creatures.
