The weekly audience (WOW) of the zombie action game Dying Light by the Polish studio Techland is half a million players 2.5 years after the release of the game.

Since the release of Dying Light in January 2015, the WOW indicators have decreased slightly: from 700 to 500 thousand gamers.

Techland maintains interest in its project through regular releases of additional content.

The latest global addition, The Following, was released in February last year, and at the last E3 exhibition, the developers announced the release of 10 DLC during 2017.

The add-ons will be free for owners of the game on all platforms.

According to Techland representatives for 2016, 8 million people officially registered in Dying Light, and about 4 million more played its pirated versions.
