Capcom publishing is porting the horror thriller Resident Evil 7 to the Nintendo Switch hybrid console. But the port will be unusual – instead of the whole game, gamers will download a small client through which the title will be broadcast from the cloud on their console. For the first time, the game will be available only in Japan.
To play Resident Evil 7 on Switch, you will need a stable wi-fi connection. The size of the client part will be 45 megabytes. It is free to download, but gives you only 15 minutes of trial play. A six-month subscription to access the title will cost $ 18.
Resident Evil 7: Cloud Version will appear in the Japanese Nintendo eShop on May 24. Whether the game will be released internationally or not, Capcom does not specify yet.
