Korean studio Pearl Abyss for the first time showed a gameplay teaser of the mobile role-playing MMO Black Desert Mobile, which can become a competitor to Lineage M from NCsoft.
The decision to port Black Desert Online to mobile platforms looks logical against the background of the success of the mobile versions of the Lineage role-playing series.
Netmarble’s Lineage 2 Revolution earned $178 million in its first month of sales in South Korea. Lineage M from the copyright holder of the NCsoft MMO franchise has collected $233 million in the Korean mobile market in a month.
Black Desert Mobile is a mobile version of the popular MMORPG Black Desert Online with a worldwide audience of over 3.5 million players.
