Atari has agreed to cooperate with the crowdfunding platform Fig. As part of the partnership, they will develop and release two titles: a remake of the Atari gaming classics and a new intellectual product.
In case of commercial success of the projects, the companies will share the revenue received.
What exactly these games will be and on which platforms they will be released is not yet reported.
Earlier, Atari announced the release of the retro Ataribox console – a modern reincarnation of the classic Atari 2600 game console.
Along with the announcement of Ataribox, the company announced the development of new game content for the new console.
