In light of the relatively imminent release of Rise of the Tomb Raider on PC and consoles, Square Enix has stepped up. The second mobile game of the summer about the adventures of the English aristocrat and tomb raider Lara Croft is on the way – Lara Croft Go.
The game is declared as a puzzle, similar to the Hitman Go title. The player will be offered a map with missions. He will need to understand in what sequence it is necessary to make moves in order to complete the next task.
Lara Croft will follow in the footsteps of the myth of the Queen of Hate (Queen of Venom). The user will not just destroy the enemy, as in the game about an assassin, but also explore the ruins of an ancient city.
Square Enix will act as a publisher, as in the case of Lara Croft: Relic Run. Crystal Dynamics is developing a game, the creators of the Tomb Raider series for consoles.
During the presentation at the E3 conference, Patrick Neud, head of the Montreal division of Square Enix, promised players a “fascinating soundtrack” and “a great visual component.”
The quality of art and music can be assessed by watching the trailer.
Lara Croft Go will be released this year. The exact dates have not yet been named.
