The cult Russian series about space adventures will receive a new game, which will be released both on mobile platforms and on Steam.
The novelty is called Space Rangers: Quest. The developer of the game is the independent Moscow studio SNK-Games, whose employees participated in the development of most of the previous games in the series and their re-release.
1C positions the novelty as a “nostalgic text sci-fi adventure with RPG elements”. In other words, we are not talking about a full-fledged ordinal series, but rather about a branch.
The gameplay of Space Rangers: Quest will be built mainly on text quests and text battles.
Visually, the game looks, judging by the first trailer and screenshots, ambiguous. The authors decided to stylistically recreate the interface solutions of the game “Space Rangers 2″, which was released 12 years ago.
Be that as it may, this does not make the project any less expected. The game is scheduled for release on August 27 on iOS and on September 5 on Steam and Android.
