Monument Valley

Paid games on the mobile market can bring money. This statement for the third month in a row continues to prove the game Monument Valley from the London studio ustwo. Recently it became known that the total sales of the game on three mobile platforms (App Store, Google Play and Amazon Appstore) exceeded the figure of 1 million.

According to the developers, the development of the project, which was released in the App Store in the second half of April 2014, paid off in a week (the authors of the game thought it would take a year). By mid-May, the number of paid downloads on the App Store exceeded 500 thousand. At the same time, ustwo launched the Android version of the game. However, the sales of the game on the Play Store are very far from similar in the “apple” store. But Amazon is showing itself well – a third of Android sales are accounted for by it.

At the moment, developers are creating new levels, however, in what quality the new content will be distributed (via IAP or for free), ustwo has not yet decided. They are also already starting to think about a full-fledged sequel, but they definitely do not plan to release it soon.
