YoYo Games has published the second version of the GameMaker Studio 2D game development toolkit.
Prices for the new game editor start at $99.99 for the desktop version and end at $399 for the devkit for mobile devices. GameMaker Studio 2 differs from its predecessor with a new interface, advanced features for creating level designs and tools for monetizing their works.
GameMaker Studio 2 supports development for Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. You can also download a trial version of the editor with limited capabilities from the creators’ website.
