Epic Games has released a version of the Unreal Engine 4.19 game engine. It contains a number of new features that simplify the creation of AR applications, offer additional options for adjusting image detail and contain many other features.

Main innovations:

Temporary step-up sampling, which allows you to adjust the depth of detail when rendering a three-dimensional scene.

Dynamic resolution, which allows you to adjust the image resolution in projects for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 to achieve the desired framerate.

The unified framework for AR applications allows you to develop augmented reality programs for iOS and Android without having to change the code individually for each platform.

New sequencer functions allow you to copy and synchronize animations of game objects.

The preliminary version of UE 4.19 was released in mid-January of this year.
