Unity consistently regales us with news. Today, the company announced that it is opening access to the beta version of Unity 5 to users who pre-ordered it in advance, as well as those who are the proud owners of a Pro subscription.
Recall that the key innovations of the engine, first presented to the general public in March this year, are:
- a new library of “physical” shaders, which, as the engine developers promise, will look good in any light (the library will be available immediately “out of the box”);
- a new model of global dynamic lighting, which is based on Enlighten technology;
- a full-fledged audio toolkit integrated into the Unity editor interface;
- one-click porting of games to web browsers that support WebGL;
- Unity Editor will now support 64-bit solutions;
- tools for targeted cross-promotion.

- Unity Engine is a very popular engine among mobile app developers, allowing you to develop games for most existing platforms, including PC, Facebook, iOS, Android, portable and home consoles.
One of the key features of the toolkit since its release has been a user-friendly editor.
