The authors of the geolocation project Landlord Real Estate Tycoon decided to take up the creation of tools that will help other developers to follow in their footsteps.

“The success of our first game proved that users like to play with real data (…) Now, based on this fact, we want to develop the direction by working on a game engine that will help developers create more games like Landlord,” says a post on the official website of the Polish company Reality Games.

The authors of Landlord claim that their solution allows you to create games quickly, without using “background content” by a small team. When the engine will become available, as well as how much it will cost to use it, is not specified. But you can sign up for beta.

Perhaps the answers to these questions will appear when the developers receive the results of their survey, which is taking place just as part of the announcement of work on the engine. The survey raises topics such as your average income with MAU and the distribution of budgets in your team.

Released in January last year, Landlord Real Estate Tycoon shows very average, but stable performance in the US box office top (iOS, iPhone).

In the game, the user can buy and sell real objects. The game pulls up data about objects from various applications, like Foursquare and Facebook.
