Vasily Sabirov announced that he is leaving devtodev

Sabirov announced his departure in his Facebook feed. He did not voice specific reasons. However, he noted that he had given himself entirely to the company, that he needed to “exhale and switch.”

It was a difficult decision that I made for a very long time and with great difficulty. It would be possible to say about fatigue, about burnout, but I will say this: I have worked in the company for 5.5 years and, it seems, I gave it all of myself without a trace. I leave the company with a pure heart, bright sadness and a clear conscience.

In the comments under the post, he separately noted that the decision is not sudden. Sabirov is confident that the company, which now employs more than 100 people, has a bright future. He also said that the founder of the service and its CEO Dmitry Kravtsov is still the head of the company.

Prior to working on devtodev, Vasily Sabirov was a leading analyst at Alternativa Games, and also headed the payment systems department at Xsolla. As a leading analyst of devtodev, he also conducted extensive educational work. In particular, Sabirov, together with the service team, launched an educational platform within devtodev, and also published several dozen articles and a couple of voluminous works devoted to working with key game metrics.

devtodev service was officially introduced in 2013 as one of the portfolio products of Igor Matsanyuk’s investment company IMI. Initially, the service was developed as an internal analytics tool for Game Insight. Over time, it was decided to develop it as a full-fledged separate solution. Today devtodev is one of the leaders of analytical solutions in the Russian-speaking segment of game development.
