In our release selection today: the first free-to-play from the authors of Max Payne, a hard-boiled domestic bagel and not only.
A good domestic bagel about generating mazes, heroes and loot. That’s just it is focused strictly on those who have played NetHack at least once in their lives and feel nostalgic thrill at the mention of the Golden Box series. The rest may not understand the hardcore charm.
The most ordinary “Maybrut”, like the “Speed League” on VK, only instead of cars – sheep, lazily rushing through rural off-road. It’s amazing that there are so few similar projects on mobile platforms. This particular one, however, bores with just an unnecessarily verbose tutorial.
The original mechanics of the project, which is a mix of puzzles, turn-based strategy and role-playing game. There is a playing field on which four heroes are arranged in two rows – three in front, one behind. Each hero can be safely swapped with any other. Changing the location of one hero with another automatically means the end of the turn. At the end of the turn, three heroes from the front rank attack (it doesn’t matter if there is an enemy or not), the fourth hero is treated. The trick is that each hero, as well as each opponent, also attacking / advancing after the end of the turn, has its own strike distance. It is necessary to constantly make such moves so that the opponent does not bother you, and you beat him. It’s really addictive.
The first free-to-play game from the authors Max Payne and Alan Wake – Remedy company. The project is something like a short-session reversible tower defense with the construction of a base, a plot, stunning graphics, a sea setting and an atmosphere in the spirit of “Ball Lightning” Terence Young . The worst thing is that this case is still being played with a bang.
