News for the day: Final Fantasy XV will have its own mobile game; Marvel has presented a continuation of the project, whose downloads have reached 70 million; and Twitch, together with Super Evil Megacorp, is going to invest heavily in Vainglory.
1. Square Enix is making a very big bet on the console Final Fantasy XV, which will be released on PS4 and Xbox One on September 30. In addition to the full-length CGI and anime series based on the fifteenth part of the series, a mobile game — Justice Monsters Five will also be released.
2. Marvel has rolled out Marvel Avengers Alliance 2, the sequel to the superhero battler. The first part, we recall, collected 70 million downloads. The novelty, first of all, differs from the original in the presence of 3D and aggressive cell shading.
3. Twitch, together with Super Evil Megacorp, will build “Vainglory esports structures”, as well as “provide them with promotion and sponsorship”. How much money the companies are going to invest in this construction is not clear, but it is reported about “millions of dollars”.
