WN Moscow’21 is just over a week away. We tell you about the event and its new speakers

So, as we wrote earlier, the official opening of WN Moscow’21 will take place on October 13. However, according to the established tradition, unofficially everything will start a day earlier — with a pre-party.

We inform you that the pre-party is one of the most important parts of any conference. As a rule, it is here that it is easiest to make new acquaintances at ease. The main thing is not to sit still and constantly move from one group of interlocutors to another.

In Moscow, the pre-party starts on October 12 at 18.00 at VASILCHUKÍ Chaihona restaurant No. 1 on Bolshaya Polyanka. It is near the Dobryninskaya metro station.

The doors of the WN Conference open the next morning at 10.00 in the third pavilion of Expocentre at Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment, 14.

Someone will have meetings from this time on (they can be scheduled in the WN Hub meeting system). The rest have thirty minutes before the start of the lecture program to run with a cup of coffee along the exhibition stands to get their bearings, where and what is located, and at the same time to note for themselves the best games at the developers’ exhibition.

The reports on the first day (as well as on the second) go in parallel in two streams.

A total of 18 performances are scheduled for October 13. Let’s focus on a few of them.

In the blue hall hall, for example, will perform:

• Yandex.Games with the theme “Is it possible to make money on games for mobile browsers”;
• Nexters with a lecture “Are you making a game or building a business?”.

In the purple hall, they will talk all day about the legal aspects of game development. Eg:

• Semenov&Pezner together with Xsolla will discuss the legal conflict between Epic Games and Apple;
• Prospectacy will tell you how much it will cost to launch a gaming business abroad;
• Alexey Savchenko will read a report on the economics of game studios and games.

The working part of the conference will end at 17.30. Most likely, one part of the guests will immediately run away for business lunches, and the other will go mentally prepare for the main party of the entire event.

WN (formerly White Nights) is known and respected in the gaming community primarily for excellent networking and, as the organizers themselves say today, legendary night parties after the first day of the conference.

Like the pre-party, a big party will be held in one of the restaurants of the VASILCHUKÍ Chaihona chain No. 1. But this time in the one that is located on Tsvetnoy Boulevard. It starts at 21.00.

The second day of the conference will begin shortly before noon: those who have had a good walk at the party will have the opportunity to sleep and come to meetings and reports on time.

The last 17 pieces are planned. Let’s note some of them.

In the blue hall , among other things , they will perform:

• Snap with a lecture on hypersocial gaming;
• GEM Capital with a story about the key mistakes of raising funds.

In the purple hall, you can hear:

• discussion of the prospects of indie development during the round table, which will be attended by Heart Core, Highcore Games, Dreamside Interactive, One Dream, Demagic Games and Alexander Khoroshavin;
• Belka Games report on how to become a successful company;
• as well as a lecture from App2Top.ru about how amazing the year 2021 has become for Russian gaming development.

WN Moscow’21 will end on a high note with an award ceremony for the best HR projects of Russian—speaking game studios. We are talking about the Game Dev HR Awards, organized by the job search service and recruiting agency Talents In Games. The award has been held for the third year in a row.
