On August 20, the second WN Media Group event on the banks of the Rhine took place — WN Connect Cologne’24. It was one of the satellite events of Gamescom, the largest gaming exhibition in Europe.
The recent connect turned out to be one of the largest and most successful in the history of the organizing company. WN Media Group reported that 717 industry representatives registered to participate in the event.
The overwhelming majority of WN Connect guests were top managers and company owners (68%). There were also business development managers (19%), developers (9%), and game promotion specialists (5%).

As for companies, there were 484 gaming businesses represented at the event. Most of them are directly involved in game development (66%), advertising (19%), or providing comprehensive service solutions (18%). One-tenth of the companies identified themselves as investors.

Among the companies registered for the event were Behaviour Interactive, BoomBit, Epic Games, Miniclip, NCSOFT, NetherRealm Studios, Newzoo, Sensor Tower, Tencent Games, and many, many more. The event was sponsored by the marketing platform Aarki, with The Games Fund as a partner.
The event was the seventh WN Connect this year. Since January, WN Media Group has held similar events in the UK, Pakistan, Spain, Vietnam, Poland, and Croatia.
