The first session of the WN Conference in 2022 will be held in Berlin. The dates are February 7-8. The event will be held both offline and online. His program has already been published.
The conference returns to Berlin after a pause of two years. The last time it was held in the German capital was in February 2019, long before the lockdown. Then the organizers were very pleased with the result. WN was visited by 1400 people.
This year, due to the ongoing pandemic, forecasts have been adjusted. It is expected that the event will be personally attended by around 800 people and about 1,000 participants will gather on the WN Hub online platform.
To date, more than 40 speakers have been announced. Among them are representatives of companies such as Newzoo, SEGA, Ubisoft, Gamigo, Bigpoint and many, many others. The most interesting performances, it seems to us, will be the following:
- “How to combine science and games“
Total Games is working on games that allow you to monitor mental health and improve your psychological state. How this became possible, — the scientific consultant of the company Andrey Sokol will share.
- “How UGC will affect the future of game development“
Yahaha Studios has raised $50 million to develop a UGC gaming platform. Its key feature is the ability to create games without knowing the code. But the studio understands that this is not enough for success. Patty Toledo, Director of Developer Relations at the company, will talk about how the company sees working with the community.
- “Amazing User Purchase and Monetization Cycle“
Kolibri Games is primarily famous as the developer of Idle Miner Tycoon. But at the conference, their report will not be about working on idlers, but about marketing. Paul Le Bas will share the cases of his advertising campaigns and their KPIs.
WN Berlin`22 will not be limited exclusively to reports. The event will traditionally have a large exhibition area where you can chat with Appodeal, Yandex Ads, Moloco, Liftoff, GameRefinery, AppsFlyer, Xsolla and other companies.
The expo will also host an exhibition of developers. At it, novice and independent teams will present projects to the guests of the conference. By the way, applications for participation in the exhibition are open until January 26.
