The company developing the Unity game engine announced the launch of a new event – Vision Summit, a conference on virtual and augmented reality.
The first “vision” will be held on February 10-11 right in the heart of the world’s dream factory – in Hollywood. Among the announced guests are companies actively working in the field of VR/AR today: Oculus, Qualcomm Connected Experiences Inc., Sony Computer Entertainment and Valve.
Reports and presentations will also affect the design of applications focused on virtual reality.
The summit, which, according to the press release, is aimed at “designers, artists, engineers, programmers, musicians, producers and hardware developers,” will be the second series of Unity events. The first, Unite, is represented by a number of local events (this year alone it takes place in eight cities, including Amsterdam, Tokyo, Beijing and Boston).
