Last week, a free online conference for game developers Talents in Games was held. We share its results, and at the same time a link to the video recordings of lectures.
Talents in Games Conference Online’22 (this is the full name of the event) was held for two days in one stream — on March 30 and 31. Her main topics were game design, working with art and relocation. For example:
- Dana Kirilenko, game and narrative designer of Ice-Pick Lodge studio, shared how to create detective games;
- Alexander Maslyukov, an art lead in Door 407, told about the features of working on a game in the loupoli style;
- and representatives of Ravenage, Playrix, Nexters Boost, AppQuantum and other companies discussed the pitfalls of moving abroad.
A total of 12 sessions were held within the framework of the conference on topics related to both game development and related matters.
The organizers report that more than one and a half thousand guests visited the event in two days, who watched lectures, walked around the virtual expo zone and communicated within the framework of the WN Hub, the platform on the basis of which the conference was held.
Recordings of lectures have already been made publicly available. You can view them by registering on the conference website. The archive will be available at least until the end of July.
Talents in Games Conference Online’22 is one of the serial events of WN Media Group, held under the brand Talents in Games. There is also a regular conference of the same name for game developers in a physical format. The next one is scheduled for September 17. It will take place in Moscow.
