In mid-September, the second-largest city in Cyprus hosted a conference for game developers and publishers, the WN Conference. Among its participants were representatives from companies such as Amazon, Google, Moloco, Playrix, and many more.

According to statistics gathered by the organizer, the event was attended by 338 companies related to the gaming industry. Just under half of these were game developers and publishers. 24% were involved in adjacent businesses such as traffic and advertising.

Overall, according to WN Media Group, which hosted the event, the September session of the WN Conference was attended by 763 people. Of these, 70% were top managers and company owners, while another 19% categorized themselves as business and sales development managers.

A total of 58 experts participated as speakers at the conference. For instance, Andrey Kulin from Google talked about using YouTube Shorts for promoting games, while Vladimir Nikolsky, known as the founder of IT Territory and My.Games, shared his vision of the industry’s situation.

Around 30 companies sponsored the WN Conference this time. Key sponsors included Moloco, Yandex Games, Google, Meta*, GameLight, TikTok, Xsolla, GEM Capital, Adjust, Discus Holdings, and Poolday.ai.

The event was also supported by local organizations. For example, the national investment agency Invest Cyprus, which is directly affiliated with the island's government and is involved in promoting Cyprus among foreign companies.

WN Media Group has held a large conference in Cyprus for the fourth time. The company will return to the island next spring. In March, a somewhat smaller WN Summit will take place in Limassol.
