The organizers of White Nights Prague 2018 have published the jury of the Indie Game Cup. It includes representatives of three game engines, as well as the authors of Horizon and World of Tanks.
From February 13 to 14, a conference for developers, publishers and marketers of White Nights games will be held in the Czech capital. Traditionally, the Indie Game Cup, a competition of the best games of the event, will be held within the framework of the event.
The competition will be held in three stages. As part of the first one, the conference organizers will select the best projects based on the video and description. In the second stage App2Top.ru and Nevosoft will play the selected projects and form a shortlist. The third stage is the voting of a special jury for the best projects.
This time the jury will include:
- Alexander Shlygin – Solution Consultant at Unity;
- Alexey Savchenko – Unreal Engine Licensing Manager;
- Leszek Szczepanski is a leading programmer at Guerrilla Games;
- Matt Daly – Head of Special Projects Wargaming.net;
- Josh Larson – Kongregate Profit Director;
- Yuri Krasilnikov – Business Development Director of Belka Games studio;
- Tatiana Timoshenko – G5 Games Licensing Director;
- Vadim Bashurov – Evangelist of Corona Labs;
- Ruslan Gerasim – Nevosoft game designer;
- Alexander Semenov is the publishing editor App2Top.ru .
To participate in the competition, you must submit an application by January 24. In order for the application to be approved, in addition to general information about the team and the upcoming game, the developer must provide a working build and gameplay video.
Only projects in the beta stage and above, as well as games launched no earlier than November 2016, will be allowed to participate in the competition. Another important condition for participation is the small size of the team (up to 15-20 people).
