The organizers of White Nights have launched the first round of voting for the Game Industry Awards.
At each winter session of the White Nights Conference, which gathers more than 3 thousand developers, publishers and marketers of mobile and social games a year, the White Nights Game Industry Awards are awarded.
February White Nights Helsinki 2016 is no exception. Therefore, yesterday the first round of open voting of the award “for professional merits in the field of mobile games” started on the conference website.
The winners will be determined in five categories: the best advertising or monetization service, the best analytical platform, the best localization service, the best music and sound creation company in games, as well as the best platform (that is, which platform – the App Store or Google Play, for example, worked better with developers last year).
The voting will take place in two stages. According to the results of the first stage, a shortlist will be formed. For those teams that will get into it, you can also vote.
- The first stage: January 11 – January 15
- Second stage: January 18 – January 22
White Nights Game Industry Awards 2015 is important not to be confused with the Indie Game Cup Helsinki 2016. If the first is an open vote for the best services for developers and publishers, then the second is a competition for the best independent game projects.
