The organizers of White Nights shared the program of the winter session. EA DICE, Square Enix, SEGA, Paradox Interactive, Super Evil Megacorp and many others will perform at the conference, which is a month and a half away.

January 23, 11.30 — Blue Hall — Effective Prototyping

A few months ago, Fawzi Mesmar became the head of design at DICE, a Swedish studio, famous for a series of Battlefield shooters. He will talk about how to decide what should be prototyped in games and what methods should be used for this.

January 24, 12.00 — Blue Hall — The Publisher/Developer Relationship: the Square Enix Mobile Partnership Approach

The product lead of Square Enix’s London division, Alberto Custodio Martinez, who previously worked on Dragon City and Monster Legends, will give a lecture on how to properly build a relationship between a publisher and a developer.

January 24, 13.30 — Purple Hall — What to Look out for When Signing with a Publisher

From SEGA, Robert Wertheim (Bobby Wertheim) will perform. He has been responsible for producing, publishing and content at SEGA Europe for nine years. His report will be devoted to what the developer should pay attention to when signing a contract for the publication of the game.

January 24, 12.30 pm — Blue Hall — Niche & Nerdy: The Good and Bad of Making Games “the Paradox Way”

For the last year and a half, Julien Wera has been responsible for the entire product line at the Swedish company. Prior to that, he was responsible for promoting the Battlefield series and Tom Clancy’s The Division project. At White Nights, he will talk about the pros and problems when working in a niche gaming discipline.

January 23, 12.30 pm — Green Hall — Think Next : Frontline View of Game Industry Transformation

From the creators of one of the first esports mobile games Vainglory, Taewon Yang (Taewon Yun) will perform. He is the CEO of Super Evil Megacorp for global publishing. His report will focus on the perception of the gaming industry as a permanent frontier.

The White Nights winter session will be held in Amsterdam on January 23-24. The organizers expect more than 1300 participants from 50 countries.
