This Thursday, October 7, the third “Game Dev HR Awards” will be held, an award for gaming HR specialists. At it, the participants of the event will present and defend their own projects related to the adaptation of employees, their retention, recruitment and many others.

Recall that the “Game Dev HR Awards” is an annual event from Talents In Games, a job search service and a recruiting agency. The award has been held since 2019 in approximately the same online format:

  • first, gaming companies send applications for participation with a description of their projects;
  • at the event, companies present and defend their projects before the jury of the competition;
  • during the voting, the jury selects several of the best projects;
  • A solemn ceremony of awarding the winners is held at the autumn session of the WN Conference.

This is how it happens this time.

Applications were accepted until the end of September. They were submitted this year by G5 Entertainment, MYTONA, Playnetha, Friday’s Games, Playrix, BIT.GAMES and Deus Craft. By the way, the editorial staff helped some companies to form an application App2Top.ru .

This Thursday, the presentation and defense of applications in front of the jury will take place in an online format (everything will take place live on the basis of the WN Hub game dev platform, it will be possible to look at the protection of projects after registration at this address), which includes game HR experts:

  • Maria Iogman — Playrix — People Operations Producer;
  • Yuri Boldov — MY.GAMES — Deputy HR Director;
  • Olga Kondratovich — Belka Games — HR Director;
  • Konstantin Petrov — MYTONA — Acting HR Director.
  • Lana Zvyagintseva — Frag Lab — HR Director.

Then, on October 14, as part of the WN Moscow’21 conference, an award ceremony for the best projects will take place (the event will have an offline part). The winners will receive memorable awards and the opportunity to talk about the project on our pages.

Among the winners of the “Game Dev HR Awards” last year were Wargaming, Playgendary and Crazy Panda. The links contain articles about their projects.
