For service providers (advertising, billing and analytical networks), a ticket to Moscow Nights 2015 will cost twice as much as for game developers.
In the last couple of years, many conferences dedicated to mobile development have begun to face the following problem: the influx of representatives of networks offering their services. The irony is that sometimes the number of the latter turns out to be, if not large, then at least comparable to the number of developers themselves at events. But this is half the trouble: the activity of advertisers and analysts who want to sell their product has led to the fact that some developers have become corny uncomfortable working in an environment where every second offer at an event is associated not with a publication / new technical solution / potential partner, but with a purchase offer or traffic analysis.
Nevosoft, the organizer of Moscow Nights 2015, a conference for developers and publishers of mobile and social games, is trying to solve this problem in a curious way. The St. Petersburg company has doubled ticket prices for those guests who are engaged in advertising, billing or analytics. That is, if a standard ticket to a developer or publisher costs $ 200, then for a representative of a particular network it will already cost $ 400.
As stated in the official press release of the company, since “the main goal of the conference is to provide developers, publishers and platforms with a convenient place to communicate, exchange experience and conclude deals,” such a measure “will allow to maintain the balance of representatives of different industries.”
Recall that Moscow Nights 2015 is part of the WN: Mobile and Social Game Development Conference series, held in winter under the Winter Nights label, and in summer – White Nights.
