Today we wrote where it will be possible to gather in St. Petersburg to work on your projects for Global Game Jam together with friends and industry colleagues. There will be such a place in Moscow too.
So, on January 23-25, in Moscow, in the Free Swimming coworking, the developers of the Mother See will gather to take part in the global marathon for game development.
The partners of the Moscow event will support local winners in the following nominations:
- Microsoft Prize: Best Game for Windows or Windows Phone
- Samsung Prize: Best Cross-platform game
- Winter Nights Prize: Best Team
- Unity Prize: The best game on Unity
Accordingly, the winners will receive prizes. For example, the best team will get free tickets for the upcoming Winter Nights 2015.
Recall that Global Game Jam is an international event dedicated to high—speed game development. It takes place annually at the end of January and lasts 48 hours. Participants join groups and create games on a predetermined topic.
