The upcoming "Gaming Industry" conference boasts a very packed schedule. Over the course of one day, there will be three tracks featuring 29 talks and round tables, presented by 47 experts. More details about the program are available in our publication.

The program is designed so that every game development professional interested in the business side of the industry will find something relevant.

For easier navigation, the schedule is organized into six thematic blocks:

  • "Industry Trends";
  • "Marketing and Advertising";
  • "Texts. Games. Narrative";
  • "Development. Management. Producing";
  • "Market Niches and Money";
  • "Publishing and All That Jazz".

Let's delve into each of them, discussing the presentations to expect and how to easily navigate them.

"Industry Trends" — 4 Talks

This thematic block will take place in the blue room from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The key idea here is discussing significant industry cases, trends, and approaches.

For instance, 1C Games and "Eksmo-AST" will host a round table on cross-media project work using the example of Roman Papsuev's "Tales of Old Rus'.

Anton Kudryavtsev, game director at CarX Technologies, will also share his case in this thematic block. He will discuss how the company created a successful esports title.

"Marketing and Advertising" — 5 Talks

It will take place in the same blue room but later—from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. As the name suggests, the talks in this block will focus on promotion.

One of the key presentations here will be Ivan Sidorenko from Astrum Entertainment discussing marketing strategies for launching Atomic Heart.

There will also be talks about mobile. For example, at a round table moderated by the analytical platform Apptica, they will discuss new sources and formats of UA in Russia.

"Development. Management. Producing" — 7 Talks

For example, Vadim Gilyazetdinov, known as the developer of pixel beat-'em-ups yeo, will talk about achieving zen in solo development.

The round table on the state of the Russian indie scene will also touch on process topics. It will be moderated by Pyotr Salkov, host of the podcast The House of the Dev.

"Market Niches and Money" — 3 Talks

The key feature of this block is its focus on narrow segments of the gaming market, detailing what is happening within them. It will take place in the green room from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM.

One talk will be given by Ilya Boretsky from AdsGram, who will share information about the state of apps and games on Telegram.

Also noteworthy is Andrey Ivanov's speech, editor-in-chief of the Russian-language visual novel community LD. He will discuss whether developing such titles is as easy and profitable as it seems.
