As part of the Berlin White Nights session, a round table on UA will be held. Its participants will compare approaches to buying traffic from game publishers and marketing agencies. We invite the guests of the table to ask questions. The authors of the two best ones will receive a premium ticket to the conference.

About the round table

Today, gaming companies have several options in terms of UA. You can form a team and buy traffic yourself. Another scenario is the involvement of third—party agencies. Both approaches are common, both have their pros and cons. “And the purpose of the round table is to understand how the procurement model is arranged from the first and second,” Evgeny Marchenkov, the moderator of the session, the CEO of AdSide Media, told us.

According to him, the acquisition of the user is based on three key elements:

  • media buying — creation and optimization of advertising campaigns;
  • creative production — creation of advertising banners and commercials;
  • analytics — setting up systems to account for traffic efficiency and subsequent analysis of the results obtained.

“I want to find out how much the work of all these elements differs depending on the specialization of the company,” explains Eugene. — “But, of course, we will try to answer more practical questions. For example, why don’t agencies create complex videos, like trailers with Schwarzenegger, and do such creatives make sense for mobile projects?”

Wooga (Jelly Splash, June’s Journey) and InnoGames (Forge of Empires) will participate in the round table on the part of game publishers who are independently engaged in buying traffic. Representatives of Borscht Performance Marketing, Nanigans and Appness will speak from advertising agencies. This is an incomplete list. Other participants will be announced later.
