One of the main problems of small and novice gaming teams is finding and establishing relationships with a major publisher. Companies such as G5 Entertainment, MyGamez, NetEase, Wargaming and Creative Mobile will discuss how they should be built at Finnish Game Day. Come up with a question for them on the topic of publishing. Two authors of the best questions will receive a premium ticket to the White Nights conference.

What kind of event?

On June 27, the Finnish Game Day networking event will take place at the Consulate General of Finland in St. Petersburg. It will host four round tables devoted to the problems of the modern gaming market. One of the discussions is called “International Markets and Publishing”. We propose to come up with questions for its participants.

Who will be?

Tatiana Tymoshenko
Tatiana Tymoshenko will be from G5 Entertainment, specializing in hidden object games.

She is the company’s licensing director. Tatiana has been responsible for working with external studios for almost seven years in the company and is aware of what mistakes are made in communicating with the publisher of the indie team.

Mikael Linonen
Mikael Leinonen represents the Finnish team MyGamez.

Her profile is the publication of Western games on the Chinese market. Linonen brought Hill Climb Racing and Benji Bananas to the Celestial Empire. He can tell you exactly what you can expect from Chinese market participants.

Miley Chen
Miley Chen, who is engaged in business development, is a guest from the second most important gaming company in China – NetEase.

This is the Knives Out developer, who recently invested $100 million in Bungie and is now looking for new Western games to be published in his homeland.

Chris Keeling

Chris Keeling will speak at the round table as an advisor to the CEO of Wargaming on innovation and prototyping. He has been working for Viktor Kislyi’s company for nine years. During this time, Chris managed to be both a screenwriter and a producer. He knows the inner kitchen well and what things the company expects as a publisher from third-party projects.

Alexander Sister
From the Estonian Creative Mobile, which recently released The X-Files: Deep State mobile hidden, Alexander Sister will take part in the discussion.

He is a producer of the publishing department of the company, which successfully launched the Beholder premium project on the App Store and Google Play.

What will they discuss?

The organizers of Finish Game Day say that the panel participants “will discuss topics such as the prospects for launching games in different markets, the relevance of certain genres, the interaction schemes between the publisher and the developer, as well as the KPIs that publishers rely on when choosing a project for publication.”

Terms of participation

To participate in the competition, you need to come up with a question on the topic of working with a global launch. He or they can be addressed to all speakers or to someone individual. Questions should be written in the comments to this text.

We will announce the names of the two winners after 19.00 next Wednesday, June 13, right there in the comments.
