Not so long ago, the organizers of the Casual Connect conference series took the initiative. Developers of the best projects of Eastern European gaming events are offered free flights and accommodation in Israel to participate in the international indie developers Indie Prize Showcase at Casual Connect Tel Aviv 2015.
Within the framework of cooperation with the WN Games Conference and DevGAMM, four teams have already been paid for tickets to the Indie Prize Showcase with all related expenses – Yulia Moshkareva, Director, Indie Prize at Casual Connect told us.
Julia MoshkarevaAs part of the expansion of the program aimed at those teams that develop really worthwhile games, but for financial reasons cannot afford a trip, negotiations are also underway with events in Estonia, Belarus, Poland, Hungary, Serbia and Ukraine, as well as contests on social networks.
On August 15, the winner of GetIT in Odessa will receive his lucky ticket to the Indie Prize Showcase Tel Aviv 2015.
Such an initiative, it seems to us, is directly related to the venue of the autumn Casual Connect. The fact is that Israel, first of all, is a forge of advertising and marketing IT services. Diluting them with independent developers is a non-standard, but certainly an interesting move by the organizers.
Casual Connect Tel Aviv 2015 will be held on October 19-21 in Tel Aviv.
