The organizers of the White Nights conference for game developers have launched the next Indie Game Cup, a competition for game projects from independent teams. Representatives of Amazon and Appodeal, among others, will choose the best.
The acceptance of applications for participation in the Indie Game Cup Indie project competition has started. It traditionally takes place before each White Nights conference. The current competition precedes the summer White Nights St. Petersburg 2018, which will be held on June 28-29.
To participate in the Indie Game Cup, independent gaming teams are invited, which number no more than 15-20 employees. The main requirement for the project is that the game must be at least beta stage. If we are talking about a released project, then the release date should not be earlier than September 1, 2017.
The platforms and OS for which the game is oriented can be any. Both mobile and desktop projects, as well as social, console, and created for VR devices are accepted for consideration.

Just note that to participate in the contest, you must attach: a video, a link to a functioning build or, if the game is already posted somewhere, ten keys (for all members of the jury).
The selection will take place in two stages. The task of the first stage is to select the Top 20 most interesting projects, the selection takes place by video. At the second stage, the jury of the competition, about the composition of which we will write separately a little later, will evaluate the games after a personal acquaintance with the gameplay.
The Indie Game Cup award ceremony will be held on June 29, the second day of White Nights St. Petersburg 2018. The awards will be held in five categories — the best art, the best game design, the best story presentation, the best VR game and the best project of the competition.
Applications are accepted until June 8, 2018. Participation in the competition is free of charge, and at least one representative of the team must attend the conference.
